Dead Island is a really fun game

I had it when it first came out. I played through it twice, pretty fun game

I am having fun with it.

It was one of the most overlooked games and about 2 weeks after the release you couldn't find a copy in most stores. Thankfully I pre-ordered it so I had my copy. They are releasing Dead Island: Riptide next year sometime, looking forward to that.

I was a little unsure about it while I was looking at it in the store but the clerk there said he owned it and loved it. So I figured why not? I was a little upset with the walking dead game I bought and figured I would try this out.

Once I finish Uncharted again (now that they released trophies for it) I am going to spend a lot more time playing this game.

I just started playing this again for the PC, having as much fun as I did when I first played it.

I have a question, whats the difference between one of the 4 characters or the 5th character? When it comes to choosing a person to play you have 4 that are all together and start in a hotel room. Or you can choose the 5th person and he starts in a helicopter that crashes.

So the 4 characters are the 4 main characters of the game. I believe you must have the GOTY Edition because the 5th character is Ryder White which is part of the Ryder White DLC. I would go through the game with one of the 4 main characters before venturing into that DLC so you don't spoil the main plot of the game. The only difference between the 4 main characters are the attributes each of them specializes in. The story of the game remains unchanged no matter which character you choose.

One tip for you Stress that I learned the first time I played this game. The first Act where you are on the resort you are able to confront most zombies without needing to run or use medpacks since you can find the Energy Drinks all over the place. When you get to Act 2 the difficulty level ramps up significantly. I would suggest stockpiling as much money as you can during the first act by doing all side missions you come across. Once you get to Act 2 don't be afraid to run from most zombie packs, and make sure to keep a ton of medpacks on you at all times. If you try to engage all of the zombies like you did in Act 1, you'll quickly get frustrated by dying constantly.

No problem. I've finished the game twice with Sam B I believe is his name. He's got the most Health I think. This time around I'm using the Firearm specialist women, can't remember her name at the moment.

I am all done with Uncharted and have all the trophies. I am now moving onto this game. I will let you know what I think.

Doesn't matter to me. I've been doing a lot of side quests and ignoring the main story line. I have just been driving the car around the island.

Might pickup this game if I have enough money this coming weekend, it's a ton of fun with 3-4 players

TC and i were playing earlier. It was fun. We could use 2 more players. It would keep the idiots from joining our game.

yea you can turn your games into private matches I believe so only your friends can join.
