MW3 – Three Elite DLC Drops To Release Every Month Until The Season’s Conclusion

The official Modern Warfare 3 Content Calendar has been updated to show
how the season of DLC is coming to an end. During the final three months
of Elite content, three pieces of DLC will be released every month
starting from July for Xbox 360, August for PS3.

Previously, the outdated calendar included only seven drops to release
over the last three Elite months, but Modern Warfare 3 is expected to
receive 24 drops, not 22 as we reported back in March. So, the final two
unknown drops were added today to the calendar, which also has been
completely revamped in terms of what type of content is expected to
release.

Here are the old content listings:

July: 2 Maps
August: 1 Map, 1 Mission, 1 Classified
September: 1 Map, 1 Mission
As of today, it includes the following: (Xbox 360)

July: 2 Multiplayer Maps, 1 Spec Ops Mission (Vertigo, see achievements below)
August: 2 Spec Ops Missions, 1 Classified
September: 3 Multiplayer Maps
(Notes: Content drops labeled “Multiplayer” should be MP maps, PS3 users will receive the drops 30 days after.)

The three content drops scheduled to release for Xbox 360 Elite users
this month might release on July 17th along with Terminal, which will
release for Elite user on the same day, July 18th for the rest of Xbox
360 users. This was the case with the free Face Off maps that released
along side Elite’s May drops. The date will be confirmed next week, says
Mark Rubin on Twitter.

PS3 users will receive the same amount of content listed above starting
from August, as they have yet to receive Spec Ops mission Arctic Recon
and the latest three Face Off maps.

Modern Warfare 3′s achievements on the official Xbox website have been updated with the following “Vertigo” achievements:

Apex
Complete the “Vertigo” Special Ops mission on any difficulty. (15 points)

Pinnacle
Complete the “Vertigo” Special Ops mission on Veteran difficulty. (20 points)

Flyswatter
Destroy all helicopters in the “Vertigo” Special Ops mission. (15 points)

To Jugger or to Jugger-Naut
Kill all juggernauts after they land on Veteran difficulty in the “Vertigo” Special Ops mission. (25 points)
