| I was wondering if someone could take the time to type out a step by step instruction log on how to make or put together a video for youtube. I want to do a few with a voice over and all that jazz but I am not sure what type of recording is used. Or how you set up the voice over. |

| You have to have a pvr. I'm looking into getting one so I can do the same. Speed, Wetmog, Cook, and Cliffy know more than I do. |

| You have to have a capture card or HDPVR to record the video. Essentially you'll plug your component cables from your PS3 into the capture card/HDPVR and the capture card/HDPVR hooks up to the back of your TV. Then capture card/HDPVR hooks up to your laptop/pc via USB to stream the feed. Once you've got the video recorded you can import the video into various editing software and do a voice over while the video is playing. I personally use Sony Vegas Pro 11 to record my voice via my headset that hooks up to my PC. Once you've done the voiceover you'll render the video/audio into a file compatible to upload to youtube. EDIT: I could probably do a video about creating a video if you wanted |

| I looked up that Sony Vegas Pro 11 and it was $599.95. That seems like a lot of money just to upload a few videos to youtube. Is there a cheaper way to get it or less expensive one? If so please PM me. |

Most of the Capture Cards or PVRs come with software that you can use to edit videos. |

The 2 I posted earlier in the thread are the 2 you would want to choose from. One is obviously a higher price tag but I feel like the quality isn't that much higher. I personally have the Roxio Capture Card and I paid $50 for it. |
