Borderlands 2

I'm a huge fan of the original game and played it for many hours, and the newest Borderlands title is hitting in August. I'm wondering if anyone plans on getting this game and for which platform (PS3/PC/XBOX) you'll be picking it up. I'd like to gauge how big the community will be in AoD for this game before I make my final decision on the platform I'll be purchasing.

I really liked the first one. Took a little bit to get used to it but once I did I really enjoyed it. I am interested to see if anyone else is planning on getting it for the PS3.

Yes I would recommend it. Its one of those games that grow on you. The humor is great. I love the fact that you can play the whole game from start to finish on your own or go online and play with others. I am sure you can pick up the first one for $10 bucks to try it out.

Highly recommend this game. You can get the original Borderlands with all 4 DLC (Game of the Year) for $24 right now. You can swap back and forth between single player or co-op online, it's fun.

Definitly getting this game, I still play the first one. Its has everything you want in an RPG/Shooter. Best part is it has co op offline. Whens the last time you beat a game with a friend or family member? 2010 for me lol

Sweet, let me know if you need someone to play online with. I usually start out playing along to get a feel for the game and then get online.

The release date is 9/18 if nothing changes. While looking it up I noticed the collector edition for $150 is sold out. I did not plan on buying it but the in game loot chest replica looked kinda cool.

Just pre-ordered the 2nd one and got the first one (GotY) based off everyone's recommendation. If anyone wants to play, just let me know.

I got the game downloaded. I still need to download all the expansions since I bought them online. I need to start a new guy also.
